Patient Responsibilities
To ensure that you receive the best possible patient care, you will need to play an active role in your own care while at the Institute for Special Surgery. Therefore, please:
- Be considerate of other patients by respecting their privacy.
- Limit your visitors to one or two responsible adults.
- Maintain a quiet atmosphere.
- Do NOT smoke!
- Use the television and telephone in a manner that does not disturb others.
- Observe safety regulations and policies, all of which are designed to protect you.
