Welcome to the Institute for Special Surgery
The Institute for Special Surgery (ISS) is a free-standing, ambulatory surgery center that was developed in 1999 by a small group of local physicians. Their goal was to have a convenient, patient-centered, efficient facility where they could provide personalized, quality care.
Since opening, ISS has provided outpatient surgical services to more than 26,000 people, achieving a high degree of patient satisfaction.
